Do you want to do a Body wrap on someone or maybe make nice marks on someone's back or butt with your bullwhip?

There are many different single tails and I will try to go through the basics, various materials, models, and how to choose the right whip – both for whipcracking and for roleplay.


What is a singletail?
A singletail is a whip used to create loud cracks, hit targets with precision, or for decorative and sensual play. When the tip of the whip, called the cracker, moves faster than the speed of sound, the classic whip crack occurs.


Material choice – paracord or leather?

For whipcracking and outdoor training
If you want to practice techniques, learn different patterns, paracord is an excellent choice.
• Advantages of paracord: Durable, weather-resistant (withstands rain and snow), requires minimal maintenance.
• Recommended length: 7–9 feet.
• Models: Bullwhip, target whip, or stockwhip. For beginners, a lighter target whip is often easiest to control.

For play and sessions
Leather whips are preferred in expression because they provide a more pleasant feeling against the skin. Paracord can cause severe friction marks and burns on skin contact.
• Choose a whip with a replaceable cracker for hygiene and safety.


Which model should I choose?
There are many different kinds of single tails to choose from. Bullwhip in various models, target whip, stockwhip, these are the most common for whipcracking. You choose which model suits you. I think you can start with a lighter model of target whip because it is easy to control, but it is very individual what one prefers.


Can you whip someone with a singletail, have the whip in expression?
Yes. A singletail can be used to create visually striking movements, long elegant stripes on the skin, or for a body wrap, where the entire whip wraps around and envelops the person. The crack can be placed exactly where you want – but it requires training and precision.


Safety and respect for the tool
Handling a singletail requires control and responsibility. Start slowly, get to know your whip, and always prioritize safety and communication when playing with others.
